Game Mechanics Reflection -
Game mechanics play a big role in the world of making games. The major thing they look at is a flow chart which pretty much shows the difficulty of the game along with the time it takes to finish that one task. If it goes outside the good line then the person will most likely want to drop the game and not want to play it anymore. They also have to use game mechanics that work well with concept of the game they are creating. Like for instance they would not have you playing cards in a first-person shooter the whole time and making sure the game mechanics bind with one another. It is a very complex process that takes time and patience to achieve.
Artifact 1 -
When I was creating this artifact I learned that pretty much every piece of the game contacts to one another in order for the game to be somewhat playable. It was unique to me because I was astonished because I never thought that deeply about every single piece in the game contacts to one another I always thought that the characters the people chose were it's own group then the cards you draw to but everything about it really opened my eyes to games.
